With strong expertise in fundraising and capital campaign management, Kaela is looking to give back to her community by supporting the important work Mavis McMullen provides to low-income women of the greater Downtown Eastside. Kaela holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Toronto Metropolitan University (formally Ryerson University). She started her professional fundraising career in 2015. In 2019, Kaela moved to Vancouver, British Columbia from Toronto, Ontario to join the University of British Columbia’s front-line fundraising team as a Development Officer. She has been a member of the MMHS Board of Directors since 2022 and currently serves on the fundraising and HR committees.
